This 1 gram silicone lubricant for o-rings is a specially formulated grease-like lubricant which is NSF 61 certified for potable water contact under both hot and cold-water conditions. We recommend this is used to grease the o-rings on filter housings each time the filter is changed.
This can be used on O-rings, rubber and plastic gaskets used in water faucets, valves and filters or applications where sticking or exposure to the elements occurs. Not recommended for use with highly oxidative chemicals such as chlorine, peroxides or liquid oxygen.
It can be applied by hand, by brushing or by wiping.
